Inar-m25 machine for pneumatically inserting Terminals and IDC

SINGLE MODULE UNIT

The single module units, used to insert IDC terminals into single or multi-way housings, are built for installation on pallet production lines or multi-position turntable stations. They are pneumatically operated, with state-of-the-art technical characteristics. The insertion operation can be carried out either on “closed” electric motors (with no visible winding) or on “open” ones (with visible winding) in automatic sequence. The terminal insertion unit consists of two overlapping slides operated by two pneumatic cylinders, one slide with fine adjustment to approach the connector and the other fixed-travel slide for cutting and inserting the terminals. The terminals are mechanically detached from the strip every time the insertion cylinder moves forward. The pneumatic terminal feeding can be left or right, or from both sides of the motor. Terminal insertion can either be single or multiple. The unit is fitted with a scrap suction system as well as travel and terminal presence control. The electrical and pneumatic systems are not included.

 

Two versions can be supplied:

 

M25 A: single module unit with fixed or mobile positioning in the customer’s production line;

 

M25 B: single module unit fitted on an electrically or pneumatically operated turntable to be positioned in the customer’s production line.

INAR-M25 Basic Machine

Inar machine mount base for terminals and connectors

The BASIC machine is a more compact bench machine with essential automation mechanisms. It is suitable for the vertical insertion of INAR-RS and INAR-RS MATE terminals in single or multi-way housings arranged in-line. The stators to be produced are manually loaded by the operator on a centring template which only allows two working positions when operating in automatic mode, or the stator to be moved manually at the end of each cycle if the terminal insertion process needs to be completed in another position. The terminal insertion unit consists of the M25 A assembly fitted in a fixed position on a pillar. The unit is built in compliance with the strictest accident prevention regulations and ensures optimum efficiency also during prolonged use.

INAR-M25 Rotary Bench Machine

The rotary bench machine is a self-contained work island for the vertical insertion of INAR-RS and INAR-RS MATE terminals in single or multi-way housings arranged radially. The bench machine can be integrated into an automatic system by adding a manipulator for loading and unloading the workpiece. The workpieces to be processed (stators, coils, etc.) are manually loaded by the operator onto dedicated pallets which are taken to the work area for connection to the conductor. The terminal insertion unit consists of assembly M25 A. The feeding, cutting, terminal insertion and positioning of the terminal insertion unit are fully programmable, whereas the work cycle is started by the operator using a two-handed control. Any machine faults are displayed on the control panel to facilitate troubleshooting and minimise any machine downtime. Wire scraps that are trimmed are collected in a dedicated container. The unit is built in compliance with the strictest accident prevention regulations and ensures optimum efficiency also during prolonged use.

 

Customers can choose between two versions produced:

 

M25 1E with one rotary pallet for loading/unloading the workpiece.

 

M25 2E with two rotary pallets to minimise work times since, while one workpiece is being processed, another is loaded onto the pallet.

INAR-M25 Linear Bench Machine

The linear bench machine is a self-contained work island for the insertion (vertical or horizontal) of INAR-RS and INAR-RS MATE terminals in single or multi-way housings arranged in-line. The bench machine can be integrated into an automatic system by adding a manipulator for loading and unloading the workpiece. The workpieces to be processed (stators, coils, etc.) are manually loaded by the operator onto dedicated pallets which take them to the terminal insertion position for connection to the conductor. The terminal insertion unit consists of the M25 A or M25 B assembly (see description in the previous paragraph). The feeding, cutting, terminal insertion and positioning of the terminal insertion unit are fully programmable, whereas the work cycle is started by the operator using a two-handed control. INAR-SPLICE MAT Machine for Connecting Magnet Wires

INAR-SPLICE MAT is a crimping press designed for the application of magnet wire terminals from the INAR-SPLICE and INAR-SPLICE ‘VAR’ ranges.

 

The Splice Mat is designed for:

  • Easy access to the connection area.
  • “In-line” and “head” crimping.
  • Allowing crimping of very short wires.
  • Simple and fast processing since the cross terminals help the operator position the cables in the crimping area perfectly.

INAR-TOOL mini applicator

INAR-TOOL mini applicators are the result of Inarca’s lengthy experience in making terminals. The utmost reliability and precision are the distinguishing features of these user-friendly mini applicators, which are available dedicated to all the terminals on the market. The mini applicators can be front (F) or side (S) feeding, with crimping height adjustment using the on a notch dial or micrometer dial.

Inarca’s hand presses are an essential tool for preparing samples, pre-production series or small production batches. Inarca’s hand presses are available in the M25-5RZ and M25-15VR versions. They differ in the size of the installation area of the workpiece to be processed, as well as in the smaller or larger travel of the punch insertion control lever. They are always fitted with a safety button, to release the linkage before the end of travel, and they can be equipped with a completed workpiece counter (optional). The insertion height is guaranteed by a zero insertion force socket. They are supplied with an insertion punch dedicated to the terminal to be inserted and with the appropriate location for the stator/coil to be processed. The insertion kit consists of an insertion punch and possibly a deburring cutter. The terminals to be inserted must be prepared individually (single, double, triple or quadruple).
