Their distinguishing feature is that they remain securely bound to the male terminal even in the presence of vibrations, or if the connecting wire is pulled. A locking mechanism provides the highest retention strength achievable by this type of terminals. Disconnection is extremely simple, by tugging on the insulation cap and not the wire in the opposite direction to mating.

INAR-LIF low insertion force terminals
The INAR-LIF product line offers users the advantages of Inarca’s consolidated line of receptacles for lamellar connections in addition to a low mating force
in the male-female connection.
Owing to their particular shape, INAR-LIF products allow a reduction in insertion effort of up to 45% to be achieved. This facilitates the connection process, avoiding possible and dangerous deformations while improving the quality of assemblies. In fact, these products have been designed to divide the insertion process into two stages: in stage one, a very low insertion resistance is obtained, which will only increase in stage two to guarantee a high disconnection force of the mating obtained. INAR-LIF products do not require any investment for their production because they are applied using the same equipment as traditional terminals.

Connectors
Connectors with a 5 mm pitch are available, with or without polarisation. The plastic connectors are made with self-extinguishing materials in accordance with UL 94 V-2 and V-0 (self-extinguishing plastic materials that pass the no flame GWT 750°C glow wire test are also available).
The connectors specified are NATURAL coloured. Connectors in any RAL colour can be supplied upon request.
