INAR-SPLICE crimp magnet wire terminals feature special scoring which cut into the enamel during the crimping process, creating the connection. The crimping obtained features a high-quality electrical contact, which is extremely resistant to vibrations as well as gas-tight, and hence free from any corrosion risk. Combinations of magnetic wires – generally up to three at the same time – can be crimped: in copper, aluminium or both materials together. Pre-stripped stranded or single-wire solid wires can be added to these combinations. Whatever the crimp wire combinations, they must subsequently be certified by the Inarca lab, which is available to our customers. The lab issues a complete test report including the crimping heights to observe. The range of crimp wires spans from 0.1 mm2 to 6.6 mm2. Connections can either be butt (all the wires on the same side) or in-line (wires on both sides of the terminal).
INAR-SPLICE is completed by the semi-automatic INAR-SPLICE MAT application machines. The combined design of INAR-SPLICE crimp magnet wire terminals and related application machines results in the highest productivity performance levels, while ensuring the mechanical repeatability of the crimping process. SPLICE TECHNOLOGY
Using Splice technology to make connections eradicates all issues related to solder connections: cold solder defects, solder burrs and tin residue on the wires. Crimping makes it possible to achieve outstanding mechanical characteristics and hence superior resistance to vibrations. Affording an excellent quality electrical connection, free from contamination by enamel or soldering tin residue. The splice system: Terminal + Splice Mat Machine is simple, safe and tried and tested. It allows perfect repeatability and superior production performance. What’s more, it also drastically reduces the risk of human error.
