Inarca's design merges IDC and PRESS-FIT technologies for solderless magnet wire PCB connections.

The PRESS-FIT INAR-RS and INAR-RS MATE combine IDC technology with the reliability of PRESS-FIT technology, eliminating the need for soldering magnet wires directly to printed circuit boards.

 

The IDC slot ensures a stable and durable connection to one or more magnet wires, without the need for prior stripping. The PRESS-FIT pin, automatically deforming during insertion into the PCB, guarantees a reliable and durable mechanical connection, without soldering. These technologies are further enhanced by high-quality materials and finishes, which ensure high mechanical, electrical, and corrosion resistance, even at high temperatures. 

 

These terminals enable automated connection, making them ideal for automated electric motor production lines. Ideal for applications in sectors such as automotive and electric motors, where reliability is paramount, Inarca’s RS terminals offer secure, solderless connections.

Despite their compact size, MICRO terminals maintain the same excellent characteristics that distinguish other Inarca IDC PRESS-FIT families.

With this new series, Inarca is able to support customers even in the most miniaturized applications, without compromising the quality and reliability of the connections.

The HEAVY DUTY terminal series, designed to meet the most demanding connection needs, it’s a new addition to the Inarca family. This range of terminals is specifically designed to connect PCB to magnet wires with a diameter ranging from 1.45 mm to 2.59 mm. Like all products in our PRESS-FIT lines, HEAVY DUTY terminals also feature a slot for connection with magnet wires based on IDC technology. The peculiarity of these terminals lies in their connection to the PCB: instead of a single press-fit pin, they are equipped with two press-fit pins. This double connection, combined with a thickness of 0.8 mm, ensures greater current carrying capacity, allowing the passage of higher amperages. This characteristic also translates into a reduction in temperature on the electronic board, improving the reliability and durability of the components. Their curated design and the use of high-quality materials guarantee excellent performance.
